Amy Kang is a Sydney-based pianist whose performances bring elegance, atmosphere, and refined musical storytelling to every occasion. She draws inspiration from both classical traditions and contemporary pop/jazz icons, blending these influences into a colourful and versatile performance style to concert halls, luxury hotels, and corporate events.

With over 16 years of performance experience, Amy has appeared as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral performer, including performances for Candlelight Concerts, corporate events, and in collaborative projects such as with the Western Sydney Symphony Orchestra. Her musical journey has taken her across some of Sydney’s most distinguished and iconic venues, shaping a career defined by both artistry and versatility. 

She has performed at the Sydney Opera House Utzon Room, the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, The Star Sydney, the Zenith Theatre Chatswood, and the John Clancy Auditorium, as well as at premier event spaces including the Sofitel Sydney, Hilton Sydney, Crown Sydney, and the Shangri-La Hotel Sydney. 

Amy’s repertoire is curated with intention and artistry, ranging from classical masterpieces to refined interpretations of English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese, and K-Pop classics, alongside lightly jazz-infused piano arrangements. Each performance is tailored to the atmosphere of the event - whether it calls for subtle sophistication, emotional resonance, or a captivating focal point.

Amy holds a Master of Music (Performance) from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and a double degree in Bachelor of Music (Honours) and Bachelor of Education (Secondary) from the University of New South Wales. Alongside her performance career, she is an experienced educator and music examiner, bringing both artistic sensitivity and professional depth to her work.

Beyond the stage, Amy shares her piano interpretations and creative arrangements across digital platforms, extending her musical voice into contemporary spaces.
